Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Golmodel ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
Golmodel is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data necessary to provide the service:
- Usage data: Anonymous analytics about how you use the app (screens visited, features used), collected by Firebase Analytics under a random identifier for this installation of the app. Firebase also estimates an approximate location, such as the country or city, from the IP address, for aggregate statistics. No personally identifiable information is attached.
- Device information: Basic device type and operating system version for compatibility purposes.
- Notification data (only when notifications are turned on): the push token Firebase Cloud Messaging issues for this installation of the app, the app's language and version, the clubs you follow and your notification settings. We use it to deliver the notifications you chose (match results, the weekly summary) and to count how many installations follow each club. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising or tracking. It is deleted when the token stops working (for example after you remove the app) or when the app has not reported for 90 days.
We do not collect your name, email address, precise location, or any other personally identifiable information unless you contact us for support.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not require account registration
- We do not collect payment information
- We do not use your device's location services (GPS)
- We do not access your contacts, camera, or microphone
- We do not sell your data to third parties
Third-Party Services
Golmodel uses the following third-party services to provide functionality:
- Firebase (Google): Anonymous usage analytics, and Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications. No personally identifiable information is attached.
- RevenueCat: Manages subscription status. Receives an anonymous subscriber identifier and the purchase record Apple provides; it does not receive your name or payment details.
- The Odds API: Used to fetch market consensus probabilities for matches. No personal data is shared with this service.
- RapidAPI: Used to fetch fixtures and match results. No personal data is shared with this service.
- Anthropic Claude API: Used to analyse squad availability (injuries and suspensions) and to generate written match summaries. No personal data is shared.
Data Storage
Match predictions and analysis data are stored on our secure backend servers hosted on Railway. This data is not linked to any individual user. The notification data described above is stored on the same servers, keyed only by the push token.
Children's Privacy
Golmodel is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
